Margaret Elizabeth Masgay

Margaret Elizabeth Masgay, of Felton, went home to be with the Lord, May 25, 2016, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 77.

     Peggy was born, June 9,1938 in London, England, to the late, George & Elizabeth Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Walter “Skip” Masgay, and her brother, David Walker.

     She had been employed for many years, as a secretary , keeping records and attendance at Annapolis High School. She had lived in Hillsmere Shores, Annapolis, Maryland for many years, before moving to Felton. She loved her grandkids, and lived for her kids and grandkids. She belonged to the British Club, and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority of Annapolis.

    Her hobbies included baking, knitting, reading, and ceramics; and loved day trips, and eating out . She also enjoyed going to Flea Markets, and loved spending time with her friends. She also attended or volunteered at all the sporting events at Annapolis High School.

    She is survived by her 2 sons, Richard Masgay & wife, Donna, of Riva, MD; and Ronald Masgay & wife, Cathy, of Edgewater, MD. a daughter, Melissa Masgay, of Felton; and 4 grandchildren,  Ronald & Tyler Masgay, of Edgewater; and Amber & Chayton Masgay, of Riva.

     A Celebration of Life will take place at 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 19, 2017, in St.Lukes Episcopal Church of Eastport, 1101 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis, MD 21403.

    In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory, to the Dover Behavioral Health System, 725 Horsepond Rd., Dover, DE 19901 or to Hope House,
