Kit Smoot, age 66 of Camden-Wyoming, Delaware passed away suddenly August 14, 2017. Kit was born December 13, 1950 in Springfield, Illinois.
Kit is the beloved daughter of the late John & Frieda Smoot, loving sister of Frances Smoot, dearest cousin of Kate Blane (Daniel Everett) and Brenda Villwock, and niece of Frank Schoone (Kathy).
Ms. Smoot taught 14 years in language arts for the Caesar Rodney School District. At the age of 49, she choose teaching as a second career to give public school students the same opportunities as private school students.
She had a zest for life that included the love of gardening, her pets and travel.
All who knew her will miss her.
