Dorothy Craig Marker passed away peacefully on November 8, 2017.
Dorothy was born in Bethesda, in the Dover area on December 3, 1915. She was predeceased by her mother, Carrie V. Craig and father, George Craig, her husband Clarence J (Boots) Marker and her son Robert George Marker.
Dorothy was a proud graduate of Dover High School. She will be remembered for her love of her family, her many hours of being a volunteer, and being a life member of The Round Table Club, and also her love for 4H.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters Dorothy Failing and Rebecca Walton, and grandchildren in the Failing family, Del, Dennis (Pam),David (Jeanette), Lisa (Rob), Craig (Diane),Melanie (Derek Carlson).Her grandchildren in the Walton family are Mark (Linda), George lll (Celene) Ron, Susan (Mike) and many great grandchildren and great great grand children.
Visitation will be 10 am to 11 am Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming Delaware, followed by service at 11 am. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, followed by fellowship meal at Wyoming United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Code Purple, in care of Wyoming United Methodist Church, 216 Wyoming Mill Rd., Dover, DE 19904.
