I was very sad to hear of Barbara's passing. She had a smile every time I saw her. I remember her great sense of humor. My father always spoke so highly of her. She must have made her students feel loved! May God grant you peace!

To the family and friends of Barbar Bordley, I am very sorry.for your loss. To be a teacher in any capacity can be rewarding. She looks as if she was devoted, and compassionate with patience. As she is resting now, the Creator has given a future hope, one that is faithful and true for all who are resting in the memorial tomb. This hope means life, it is the resurrection where all in the tomb will stand up when call. Originally their was no need for the resurrection but sin came into the world and so the father knew his longing would be for what he has created. please read Job14:14-15

Rest in Peace Aunt Barbara. As one of my Mother's (Christine Meade, R.I.P.) sisters, you were a great and kind Aunt, a great Educator to many generations of students and a true Political warrior. I will always appreciate your unconditional Love and support, from the time we would spend Every Sunday at "The House" for Family gatherings at 35 Center St., to my Penn State Days where many of my teammates still recall meeting a lot of my Family members after the games, to the days when you assisted in the raising and shaping of our children Jasmine and James. I will always cherish the memories of those Sundays that you, Mom and Mom Mom would come to our house because it meant as much to us as it did to you guys who are all resting in Heaven now. Until I see you again, keep a bowl of those World Famous Baked Beans warm for me. I Love You Aunt Barbara.

What a sad day it was to learn of Barbara's passing. We were neighbors in Camden for many years, and we all found her to be a kind and friendly person. She was always a woman of faith. On behalf of the entire Shockley family, I extend our deepest condolences to the Bordley family and pray for God's peace and comfort for you all during this difficult time.
