My thoughts are with you and the family and how death robs us of our loved ones. Jehovah God has promised to remove death, sickness, and pain from the earth and reunite us with our loved one on a cleansed earth in the future. (Revelation 21:4; John 5:28,29; John 17:3; Psalms 83:18)
In the meantime you can be sure that God understands how you feel now! The Bible assures us:
"He is healing the brokenhearted ones, And is binding up there painful spots." Psalms 147:3

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one, Steven. He will be missed. Losing a loved one is never easy. You have lost a mate in death, someone very near and dear to your heart. Please strive to deal with your loss one day at a time. For you may not know what benefit or encouragement a new day can bring. Please know that "Jehovah God I near to those that are broken at heart. " (Psalms 34:18) May each passing day get a little easier as life returns to normal.

I am so sorry for the family's loss. Please find some solace in the promise of the resurrection mentioned in the Bible at John 5:28, 29.
