60, of Magnolia, De Lost his his battle with cancer June 6th 2016. Robert was born January 30th 1956 to Eugene and Gloria Smith. Later Robert was fostered to Charles and Lillian Jones which raised him from 18 months old. Robert attened Middletown High School class of 1974. He then married Shirley Latham in 1984 and had a daughter. Robert was a member of Milford Moose Lodge in Milford, De where he loved playing music. Robert was one from a young age that loved and took to music and learned to play guitar. He loved singing and playing classic country and idolized George Jones, Merle Haggard and Hank Williams jr. His music, family and friends are what put a smile on his face. He also loved rooting on his Green Bay Packers. Robert is proceeded in death by his parents Eugene Smith, Gloria Shapleigh, Charles Jones and Lillian Jones. 3 brothers Albert Smith, Nicholas Smith and Robin Smith. He is survived by his daughter Amanda and her husband Richard of Townsend, De, son Willard Latham of New Castle, De. 2 grandchildren Christopher Damron and Breanna Damron of Townsend, De. 5 sisters Yolanda Mclements of Fort Smith, AR, Wanda Millet of Lebanon, De, Gloria Judkins of Salt Lake City, UT, Eugenia Hutchins of Milford, De. Regina Smith of Old Lyme, Ct. 6 borthers Eugene Smith of Macon, Ga, Bruce Smith of Lebanon, De, Fredrick Smith of Cantonsville, Md, Alan Smith of East Hartford, Ct, Timothy Smith of Wilmington, De and James Benson of Connecticut.
