Robert C. McCutcheon, 54, of Dover passed away suddenly on September 22, 2016.
Bob was owner of RCM Construction and was fondly referred to as “Builder Bob”. He enjoyed creating beautiful projects and working with his hands. He also loved working in his yard, wanting no help from "amateurs".
Bob was a graduate of Northeastern University, Boston, MA, where he met his beloved wife, Deirdre Henry McCutcheon. Bob grew up in Darien, CT and made his fondest summer memories at Wilbur Point, MA. He was a proud, loving father to his three children, Jefford, Rebecca and Eric.
Bob will be remembered for his sense of humor, his passion for all things construction, his workmanship, and his family devotion. Bob would want us all to toast with a Sam Adams Octoberfest, and remind us to never count the limes in our Gin & Tonics.
Bob is also survived by his three sisters: Leslie Dorr and her husband Doug, Susan Lach and her husband Bill and Charlene Marx and her husband Allen. He will be especially missed by his beloved companion Dachshund Ginger.
A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934. Burial will be private. Kindly omit flowers.
