Cubbage (Dubbie), Linda and Denis: While working for you dad at the law firm, their home and at the horse farm, I had fond memories of your mom. Her sweet southern drawl made you feel quite at home and as if you had known her for years. She never knew a stranger or whomever she could help. However, I never knew her to sit in the sulky behind the race horses. However, I was forced to try this and quickly knew my position was better served at the tracks, in the barns, or doing the administrative work that it took Hope all of you are in good health. Sincerely, Dan & flo

Dear Linda, Cubbage and Dennis and families - you all are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. Your mom was a very special lady to everyone she met and a wonderful friend and sister-in-law in my life. I have many good memories of times we spent together going to dinner on Sunday evenings, enjoying times at the Kent County Playhouse, just visiting together and especially, her kindness toward me when Laurie died. In my heart I feel that she and Laurie are together. May our Heavenly Father, through His mercy and grace, bring you peace and comfort. Love to you all, Aunt Pat.

Cubbage & Linda,
Please consider yourselves hugged. I have special memories of visiting her(your) home when my dad came over to 'play trains' in Cubbage & Marybrook's basement.
Love,
Debbie Evans.

To the Nancy Brown Family,

Nancy was such a lovely lady in every way. She was a special part of my childhood growing up as well as a precious friend to my mother Mildred Bergold. So many fond memories that we will always cherish. I love thinking that Nancy and Mom are in Heaven catching up and maybe even talking politics. With love and sympathy, Janice & Rick Tull

I would like to express my deepest and heartfet condolences to the family of Nancy Brown. I am truly sorry for the lost that your family is feeling. Experiencing the lost of a beloved family memember is one of the hardest things that any of us can go thru. And because of that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Take comfort in knowing that God never intent for us to deal with death or the grief we feel when we lose someone. But have assure in the wonderful promise that is held out to all of us. That very soon he will reunite us back with all those dear loved ones we have lost. (John 5:28,29) Until that time cherish all the wonderful memories that you have of Mrs. Nancy. These precious memories will console the family in the day's ahead.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Cubbage, Dennis, and especially Linda. Your mother brought joy and happiness to all who knew her, she was a great woman who I always enjoyed visiting while Linda was away at the University of Delaware. I remember her always getting on Dennis to wash his car and find "Devil" the cat. I saw the love shine her eyes when she spoke of how proud Cubbage made her for graduating and becoming a lawyer, but Linda, your were her precious baby girl who she and I both would look out the window on those Friday afternoons to see you pull up from college with your stories and of course we knew your horses would gallop up the pasture as they knew their beloved was home. Mrs. Nancy Brown made this world a better place for all whose lives she blessed. I will cherish that sweet southern voice and her warm embrace. She is sitting at the Round Table with all those who have gone before her. I know she was welcomed by her wonderful daughter-law and she probably asked Herman where in heaven did you purchase those "loud" looking golf pants too. I know my mother Carol was there to greet her too as Mom thought the world of Nancy and loved Linda for being her daughter's first friend in Dover all those years ago. God Bless to each and every member of Mrs. Nancy N. Brown's family. Love and Blessings, Deb Weeks
