Mildred Elizabeth (Rash) Eashum

   Mildred "Milly" Elizabeth Eashum of Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was 77.

   Mrs. Eashum was born in Frederica, DE, the daughter of the late Harrington and Clara (Truitt) Rash.

   Mrs. Eashum was the retired President of Henry Eashum and Son Plumbing in Camden. She enjoyed flowers and gardening, taking rides in the country, going to the grandchildren’s events, summer cookouts at the pool and especially Christmas with her family.  She was a strong independent woman whose family meant everything to her.

  In addition to both parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Steve and son Sammy.

  She is survived by her children Dale Eashum and his wife Cheryl of Wyoming; Richard Eashum and his wife Debra of Camden; Mark Eashum of Wyoming; Julie Memmolo and husband Louis of Dover; grandchildren; Kyle, Jared, Stacy, Sam, Megan, Stephen, Chelsea, Nick and an honorary grandson Cody; great grandchildren; Mariyah, Gabby, Kyra, Olivia and Khloey. Mrs. Eashum is also survived by her longtime companion “Hop”, a special friend Marty, 2 sisters Doris Hutchins, Irene Eskridge and her dog Cheeto.

  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Miss Ellie, Rosa, her guardian angel Sigrid Mills, Larry and the staff of Home Instead, the staff of Kent General Hospital and the Delaware Hospice Center.

The funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Monday, May 16, 2016 in the chapel of Pippin Funeral Home 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming where a visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the funeral home and again on Monday from 1:00pm-2:00pm prior to the service. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. Flowers are welcome or donations may be sent to Delaware Hospice Center 100 Patriot’s Way, Milford, DE 19963.
