My heart is heavy for the loss of this gentle, kind lady. I'm just an Acme shopper, but Mary was a great blessing to me each time I got to see her on one of my shopping trips. Regardless of what difficulties I was facing when I entered Acme, if it was a day I got to see Mary and, perhaps, exchange a few smile-filled words, my troubles were lighter by the time I left the store. Thank you, Mary. Your smile lit up the place. And lit up my heart. Rest in eternal peace. I miss you.

My heart has been so heavy since hearing the news that my childhood friend, Mary Catherine, had passed away. I have so many fond memories of spending time with her and her family at their home on Cresson Drive. Mary Catherine and I had not seen each other in many, many years, but then we reconnected on social media. I loved her messages of good cheer and happiness.
