Joyce C. Graves passed away at home on Saturday June 27, 2015. She was 81.
Mrs. Graves was born in Greenfield, MA. daughter of the late, Edwin W. and Margaret E. (Temple) Coombs.
She was a nurse at Kent General Hospital for over 25 years, then, became a volunteer at the Dover Air Force Base.
Mrs. Graves enjoyed doing word puzzles, traveling and visiting with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to breakfast with her girlfriends every week.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Phillip M. Graves.
She is survived by her sons Kenneth P. Graves and wife Rita of AZ, Steven C. Graves and wife Debra of Conn., grandchildren, Christopher M. Graves and wife Kim; David P. Graves and Daniel S. Graves and wife Stephanie; great grandchildren; Shane, Aiden, Ryleigh, Brodey and Kyle; brother Russel Coombs of Colrain MA and a sister Jean Temple of Dover NH
A memorial service will be held 5:00pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Pippin Funeral Home 119 W. Camden- Wyoming Ave. Wyoming, DE burial will be held at a later date.
