I was the ring bearer at Ugene and Josephine Campagna's wedding at Sacred Heart Parish in Stamford New York. I am their nephew, Kenneth Cates, the eldest son of Frances Campagna, and Lewis Cates, Ugene's sister and brother-in-law. Although my connection with Uncle Gene and Aunt Josephine faded I remember the hug and kiss she gave me as a thank you for carrying their rings. I just discovered the passing of my aunt today ( December 22, 2022) while updating my genealogy page. The fact that the INTERNET has allowed me to know of the changes that occurred during her life is a blessing — Merry Christmas Aunt Josephine and to all who read this posting.

Jo was a wonderful wife,mother,and grandmother.She enjoyed people,her family,snd a good giggle A human force of nature,and an indomitable spirit.You should have seen her st her grandsons' sports games. She will be missed.
