Charlotte Ann McMichael

Charlotte Ann McMichael, of Dover, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 1, 2016, in her home, surrounded by loving family and friends. She was 77.

Charlotte was born November 29, 1938, in Wyoming, DE to the late, Charles and Margaret McMichael. She was a faithful member of Calvary Assembly of God Church for many years, and enjoyed participating in the seasonal drama and music programs. She was retired from ILC Dover where she worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Engineering Department. She enjoyed traveling, thrifting, eBay, and spending time with her family and friends and, especially, her great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her son, Alan O’Day; and, her sister, Betty Johnson.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Debra Cormier; her granddaughter, Jennifer Lapinsky and husband Anthony; three great-grandchildren, Kylie, Chloe, and Jace, all of Dover, DE; her brother Doyle Miller and wife Karen of Whitewater, WI; and, her brother Charles McMichael and wife Patricia of Wilmington, DE; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Calvary Assembly of God Church (1532 E Lebanon Rd, Dover, DE), where family and friends may call 1 hour before. A light repast will be served at the church immediately following the service.

Burial will be private.
