It was brought to our attention in September, your mother is now with the angels. I can remember many times seeing her at Chesnut Elementary in Dekalb County. Her devotion to you, Marissa, was always present. Her kindness to my sons, Marques and Brandon, at one of your birthday parties will remain with us forever. Just found out and just recently got to know Brenda on FB. I enjoyed her uplifting messages, full of faith and inspiration. I also loved hearing her beautiful voice along with her sisters. I can truly say The Jones Girls are one of the greatest female groups that ever grace the earth. Thank you Brenda for the music and your friendship! Until the resurrection....

My heartfelt condolences to your family. I've known Brenda from grade school and last spoke to her when Valorie passed. I spoke with her and Shirley when "The Jones Girls" performed on New Orleans at Bally's Casino.Brenda came to my house in Detroit and sang for my father before he went into the hospital to have a heart transplant in 1970. She was beautiful on and out. If any memorial is held please email me. I'm in Pittsburgh now and would love to pay my respects to my friend.
