"Aunt" Bobbie was more like a mother to me, she was a real comfort for me when Mom Wallace died; I always visited her & "Uncle" Bill first when I came home from the Army, it meant so much to me when she and Bill visited us at Ft. Lee, VA. God Bless you & thank you for your love and kindness, Gerry Dove.
The first time I met Bobbie Joe was at the Wallace Christmas Party 1978 & she handed me a Christmas gift & said as "Joey's" girlfriend I was part of the family, that welcoming gesture touched me so. I watched her give solace to my husband when his mother died and I thoroughly enjoyed her delightful company when she & Bill visited us in Virginia & during all our visits home. She was a lovely woman, so sweet to us, she will be missed. All my love, Kathy Dove
