You gave me my first part of my name and everyone tells me I have a beautiful name thanks to you. I wish you didn't leave cause I could tell you everything even when I felt everyone didn't love me much as my brother. I wish you could come back cause it's so much I want to tell you and I still need you. I can't accept the fact your gone and it still hurts so bad. You taught me so much and was there when no one else was and always had my hair looking right lol. You were there when I left for the army and when I came home from basic. I wish I could've seen you the last time I was there before you left the world. I wish I could've been there for you so bad. Iloveyou so much aunt Lovey and when I see you again I'll have so much to tell you.

I can't tell you how much I miss you. I can still see your pretty face, hear your contagious laughter, and your wide smile. I don't know if I will ever get over you leaving this earth the way that you did. My heart hurts just as bad as it did when I heard the news. Our bond was like no other. You were not only my aunt, you were my friend. I miss you so much.....can't wait to see you again and give you the biggest hug. You are no longer suffering, so I will try to make peace knowing that. I will always love you.

I am saddened by the passing of a friend I had the pleasure of knowing in my early teens Lovey was such a great spirit. I often thought about her over the years and my holy spirit decided to try to reach out to her, only to see the obituary on line. My heart dropped. I wish I could have seen and talked with Lovey before her trip to heaven I'm glad I still have a photo of her. My condolences to her entire family and friends. Evonne Qwennie Phelps

May you find comfort in your loving memories and the warmth of family and friends. A scripture that has uplifted me during times such as this is found at Revelation 21:4. There it describes a time when death and pain will be gone forever after God restores his original purpose for the earth. We will even see our loved ones again who we have lost in death (John 5:28 & 29). It is our hope that these words bring you a measure of comfort during this difficult time as well. Once again, please accept our condolences as you deal with your loss.

As the days and weeks pass, and you return to life's routine, may you be comforted by our ...God and Father of our Lord... the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God". (2 Cor. 1: 3, 4). Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. May you also find comfort in the following: John 11:11 where Jesus said, "...Lazarus our friend has fallen asleep, but I am traveling there to awaken him." My heart goes out to Lovey and her sons. She loved her sons dearly. Lovey I love you and will miss the good times we had at work and gatherings. You were always the comedian and had everyone around you laughing and bringing me joy. You may be gone to heaven but your memories will live on. Darnell and Ja'Nell love you too they looked up to you as well. She always brought laughter to everyone who knew her.

My deepest sympathies to Lovey's whole family espically her wonderful mother Pauline. The best times I ever had working at the old Kent Convalescent Center were when Lovey would walk through the door, you always new it was going to be a good shift...no matter what! Her presents was like someone turned on a very bright light. Her laugh and humor could turn any bad situation into one that you wouldn't mind having again....only if she were there....RIP Lovey.

Lovey you touched so many lives through out the years,the joy u brought to your residents will never be forgotten. I remember when i first started working with you,you welcomed me with open arms and took me under wings and made me feel comfortable at pinnacle. So so sorry to hear of Lovey's passing. I went to school and worked with her at the nursing home. My grandmother was in there just recently and it was obvious that lovey loved her patients. She will be remember for her strong personality and her warm friendly comforting smile. May you find peace in knowing that she really did touch a lot people and to her patients hers was the only smile they got to see most day. I am truly sorry for your loss. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.
