Winnie Bell Obituary

   Winnie Faye Bell, of Camden, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, August 9, 2019, in Cadia/Capitol Healthcare, Dover. She was 87.

   Faye was born December 21, 1931, in Crisfield, Maryland to the late, Clarence & Charlotte(Lawson) Swift.  She was an active member of the London Village Baptist Church, of Magnolia, and also enjoyed going to the Modern Maturity Center, Dover where she would fellowship with her extended family and friends.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Bell, Sr., who passed in 2013, and her siblings, Ella Seidel, Doris Riggin, Robert Swift and Bill Swift.

    Faye is survived by her Daughter, Lynn Murphy &  husband, Ed , of Kingwood, Texas; 2 sons, John R. Bell, Jr., & wife, Jomelyn, of Townsend; and C.J. Bell, of Augusta, West Virginia. Her sister, Betty Boyd, of Dover;  4 grandchildren, Marsha Templeton & husband, Bob, of Austin, Texas; Kelly Culliton & husband, Jason, of Houston, Texas; Mark Murphy & wife, Courtney, of Houston, Texas, and Jonathan Bell, of Townsend. Great-grandchildren, Camden Templeton, Braden Templeton, Callie Murphy, and Tyde Murphy; and several nieces & nephews.

   Funeral Services will be held 3pm, Tuesday, August 13, 2019, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may view 2 hours before. Burial will take place at 11am, Wednesday, August 14, 2019, in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
