Winfred Mosley Obituary

Winfred Grandville “Win” Mosley of Kenton, DE passed away Saturday November 7th, 2020 at his son house in Dover, DE with his life partner of 50+ years right by his side until the very end, Linda Diane Stevens of Galena, MD. If you saw her just know he was right beside her in that passenger seat. He never missed a ride and IF he did she definitely heard about it. Win was born on November 22nd, 1952, he was 67 years old. He was born to the late Mildred Mosley and Allen Mosley.
Win enjoyed the work he did in his past. He worked for Sante Volpe construction with his brother. He also did carpentry as well. Win was loving, caring and fun to be around. He was the life of the party especially on Friday and Saturday night cards games, he loved playing with family and friends. Specially his favorite niece Loretta “Lynn” Demby of Dover, DE. He also loved fishing, playing pool and drinking beer, watching cowboy and western tv shows and also watching baseball and football. The Orioles and The Eagles was his favorite teams. Win was the type of guy you couldn’t stay mad at for long. He just had that energy that lit up the whole entire room when he entered it with that grin of his, that will be truly missed. Another thing about him he always had an answer for everything, no matter what you said he had a response. But that was just him he kept everyone smiling and laughing. Also, if you lost something and couldn’t find it ask him, he knew exactly where it was. Win also loved sitting in the rocking chair watching tv with the remote control in his hand and looking out the window. He could be knocked out but if someone asked for the remote control or asked to watch something, he was watching it.
He was survived by his three sons; Winfred G. Demby of Dover, DE, Arnold C. Stevens of Galena, MD, and Kevin R. Demby of Galena, MD. His daughter Shenita R. Stevens of Galena, MD as well. And his one and only granddaughter Khadijah R. Stevens of Cecilton, MD. He was also Pop Pop to Aaliyah, Kiara, EJ, Donta, Dre’cyn, Jazmyn, Genesis and Teeter. His two brothers; Arnold Mosley of Clayton, DE (Sister-In-Law Olivia Mosley), William Mosley of Smyrna, DE and his sister Shirley Ann Mosley, of Smyrna, DE. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
