William Blevins died Monday February 9, 2026 following a brief illness. Bill was 82.
Bill was born in Newlin Township, PA; raised in Embreville, PA; graduated from Unionville High School in 1961; enlisted in the Air Force right out of high school; and most recently lived in Camden, DE. Bill spent 30 years in the Air Force before retiring and continued working for the Air Force as a civilian for another 10 years. Bill enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting and especially fishing. He also enjoyed watching sports, particularly the Philadelphia Eagles.
Bill is survived by his wife Yolanda; children Richard, Stephanie and Emilie; grandchildren Bianca and Ethan; daughter-in-law Diana and son-in-law Benjamin; his sisters Marie Blevins Munson and her husband Richard of Lindale, Texas and his sister Susan C. Blevins of Lindale, Texas He is predeceased by his father Wylie Blevins and his mother Nannie Blevins.
A service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a viewing from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Thursday. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 20, 2026 at Union Hill Cemetery, 424 N. Union Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
