William VanCak Obituary

   William Joseph VanCak, of Camden, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, In Kent General Hospital. He was 80.

   Bill was born on November 21, 1937, in Yonkers, N.Y. to the late, John & Irene(Vaile) VanCak. He had worked for over 35 years for Litton Industries, in Upstate New York as a production manager. Bill loved his family, and loved animals, and in his free time enjoyed stamp collecting, fishing, and studying geneology.

   William is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol (Chapman) VanCak; 2 sons, William J. VanCak, Jr. & wife, Robin, of Driftwood, Texas; and James E. VanCak & wife, Carolina, of East Brunswick, N.J. ; a daughter, Sandra VanCak, of N.Y; 4 grandchildren, Melissa Wilson & husband, Nick; Stephanie Hill & husband, Jacob; Diana VanCak , Thomas VanCak,; and his first great-grandson, who is on the way, and whom he was very eagerly awaiting.

   A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 pm, Friday, May 4, 2018, in   Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming, DE.

   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 100 West 10thStreet , Suite 1002, Wimington, DE 19801. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
