William James Wright

William (Bill) James Wright, 81, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle  and friend passed away on February 15th, 2026.

Bill was born in Federalsburg, MD October 16,1944 to Inez Davis and Earl Wright. He found joy in being outside, traveling in their RV across the states, and had a knack for reimagining how things could work. Among everything he found most joy in spending time with his family and taking trips to the beach for Thrasher's Fries. He enjoyed his breakfast dates with his good friend, Dallas.  He will be remembered for his humor and dedication to his family and friends.

Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years Sally Wright, whom he married in 1965, his two daughters Lisa (Jeff) Haass and Tammy (Brian) Duschel. Bill cherished his four grandchildren Codilynn (boyfriend Chris), TJ (fiancé Desiree) , Lexi (boyfriend George) and Aiden (girlfriend Alyza). He was also blessed with a great grandchild, Andrew. He also has several nieces and nephews he enjoyed spending time with.  Bill was preceded in death by his mother Inez Davis, his father Earl Wright, brothers Teddy and Bobby.   Bill’s jokes and laughter will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with the immediate family.
