William Thomas Cheatham, Jr.

William "Bill" Thomas Cheatham Jr, of Dover, DE and Richmond, VA, unexpectedly departed this life on February 28th, 2015 at the age of 56. He was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn (Burwell) Cheatham and his sister Angela Cheatham. He is survived by his father William Cheatham Sr. His beloved wife and soulmate, Dorothy Cheatham, his best friend and sister Pamela Cheatham, as well as his loving daughters; Brandi Azucena and Jessica Cheatham; step daughters Olivia Martin and Rachel Martin; step son Fernando Martin, grandsons Julian, Levi, Zachary, Elias, and Roman.   Bill is also survived by a close group of friends (known as his brothers); Merle Shelor, Jamie Saunders, Ricky Clark, and Dale Truitt. Bill was a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, Class of 1977.  He was a faithful employee of Well Point in Richmond, Va for the past 13 years. He enjoyed cars, riding his Harley and traveling with family and friends.   He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him as he never knew a stranger. Service will be 4 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where visitation will be two hours earlier.  Burial will be private.
