Wendy L. Yun

     Wendy L. Yun, 57, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024 in her Magnolia home. Born September 29, 1967, in Dover, Delaware to Edith and Francis “Lowell” Farrow, she was a cherished daughter, wife, mother and “Gigi”. Prior to retirement, Wendy was a dedicated educator with the Milford School District. She was well respected and appreciated by the coworkers, children, and families she worked with. Post retirement she spent a lot of time on the family farm, playing with her grandchildren, and starting a new business.

     Anyone that met Wendy thought of her as one of the strongest, most hard-working people they knew. She loved her family and her dogs, and was constantly on the move working on anything she could.  

     Wendy leaves behind her parents Edith and Lowell Farrow; husband Mark C. Yun; two sons Brian “Keith” Peterman (Emma) and Eric Peterman (Taylor); two step-sons Chris Yun (Amy) and Daniel Yun; seven grandchildren Octavia, Willow, Noah and Haisley Peterman, and Adrien, Sophia and Eli Yun; sister Sheila Ross (Erv); niece Cynthia Messina (John); as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

     Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 18, 2024 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming, DE 19934. Viewing is from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Monday with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will be private. Keeping with Wendy’s view on life, requested attire is casual. A post-funeral reception will follow the services at the Magnolia Fire Department, 2 N Main St. Magnolia, DE 19962.
