With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Lee Hutson, 77, of Camden Wyoming, Delaware who peacefully entered eternal rest on Sunday July 20, 2025.
Born to Alexander and Ethel Dill on February 6, 1948 Wanda was raised among brothers and developed a strong, vibrant spirit that remained with her throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers: James Paul Dill, Charles Wayne Dill Sr., and Alex Eugene Dill; and her beloved granddaughter, Chelsey Morgan Hutson.
A proud graduate of Caesar Rodney High School and Delaware Technical College, Wanda went on to serve her community as a revocations officer with the Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles, from which she later retired.
Wanda's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She maintained a deep relationship with her Lord and Savior, finding daily joy and comfort in scripture and her favorite Amish-themed books. Her life was filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to her family and countless friends. Wanda also actively participated in her community as a cherished Willow Run Rurinette.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Joseph “Rob” Hutson Jr., David Hutson and his wife Tina McGaha-Hutson, Billi Jo Harrington and her husband Eric. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Nathan Hutson and Maddy, Lawson Hardy and Cara, Samantha Hutson and Aaron, Andrew and Julia Hardy, Brandon Harrington, and Ian Hutson; and her great-grandchildren: Jaelynn and Jesse Stallings, with whom she shared a special bond. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of lifelong friends who brought joy and love into her life.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Mount Olive Cemetery in Camden, Delaware. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Pippin Funeral Home to assist with expenses. Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
