Vincent Rocco Gerecitano, 78, Felton,DE. Vincent “Vinnie” Gerecitano passed away on Sunday October 1, 2023 at his home. Vinnie was born on October 21,1944 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Joseph Gerecitano and Rose (Oddo) Gerecitano of Brooklyn, NY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife of 56 years Joann J. Gerecitano on December 25, 2021.

Vincent “Vinnie” Gerecitano served in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1969 while stationed in Vietnam. Afterwards he worked as an Accountant for a Brazilian Steamship Company in Manhattan, NY. Eventually moving around from Gouldsboro, PA; Dover, DE to settling in Felton, DE with his wife and family. He enjoyed watching lots of old movies from Albert and Costello to Martin and Lewis movies. He enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows with his grandkids and laughing with his family. He would always put his family first and was generous with everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Rosemarie O’Neill of Massapequa,NY; Only Daughter, Jessica Badner and her husband Joseph Badner of Felton, DE; Grandchildren, Rose Badner, Joseph Badner and Katie Badner; As well as a Nephew and a Niece; and many beloved cousins.

A memorial service for Vinnie will be on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 12:00pm and Calvary Assembly of God Church, 1141 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, DE 19901.  The family will receive friends one hour prior.  Online condolences can be made at www.pippinfuneralhome.com
