Thomas A Rapp III "Rapp", age 63 of Camden, De. Thomas was born on September 9th, 1958 in Roslyn, New York, son of the late Thomas A Rapp Jr and Irene Rapp. He passed away peacefully on October 2nd, 2021 at Kent General Hospital in Dover, De.
He enjoyed fishing, Nascar, Football (especially his Steelers). He loved spending time with his family and sitting outside, drinking an ice cold beer, listening to music and watching the "wildlife".
He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Air Force from 1979 until 1983. He worked for the last 8+ years at Amazon in Middletown, De. Every summer for the last 30+ years you could find him at his post at June Jam guarding the gate. He now has a new post, guarding a new gate and "you ain't gettin in without a pass!"
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas A Rapp Jr; his mother, Irene (Pesinkowski) Rapp: and his older brother, Kevin Rapp.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Rapp, who he affectionately called "Lucy"; daughter, Wanda Rapp; Step-daughters Chantel Day and Vleada Wayne; step-son Benjamin Hom; a beloved father figure to many of his daughters' friends including Courtney Watkins, Susan Eberly, Christine Blackburn, Okesa Neiman and many others; a brother, Steve Rapp; sisters Kelly Rapp and Patty Desimone; and his grandchildren, who he loved very much, Jaden Jackson, Lilian Day, Ginger Day, Michael Day Jr., Lilyan Jackson, Jordyn Jackson; 1 niece, 4 nephews and many more family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place 1 pm, Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, DE, where friends may call beginning at 12 noon. Memorials may be made in Rapp's name to aid Disabled Veterans.
