Thomas Richard Angstadt Jr., 69, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend passed away on February 15th, 2026.

Richard Angstadt was born in Dover DE January 11, 1957 to Thomas and Frances Angstadt. He found joy in camping, working with his hands, and taking something broken and making it work again. But among everything he found most joy in spending time with his family and taking trips with his wife to their favorite places like Graceland, Luray Caverns, and Niagara falls. He will be remembered for his humor and dedication to his family and friends by always lending a helping hand.

Richard is survived by his wife of 36 years Debbie Angstadt, whom he married in 1990, his sister Ginger, brother Charlie, and his five daughters Kelsey Angstadt, Juliet (Travis) Norman, Melissa Hudson, Kassandra Glenn, and Kandace (Scott) Klecan. Richard found overwhelming joy in his seven grandchildren Alessa, Kaylie, Tyler, Mya, Layla, Ryder, and Arian. He was also blessed with 2 great grandchildren Hallie and Cadon. Richard was preceded in death by his father,Thomas Richard Angstadt, mother Frances Virginia K. Angstadt, sister and brother in-law Sue & Jim Conk. Richard’s presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services will be held on March 3, 2026 at Pippin Funeral Home 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming, DE 19934. Visitation will be at 10:00am with funeral services at 11:00am followed by burial at Barratts Chapel Cemetery in Frederica, DE. There will be a gathering at his daughter Kassandra’s house afterwards.
