Suzanne Josephine (Transou) Tepfenhart

Suzanne Josephine Tepfenhart, aged 88, passed away on March 9, 2025, in Felton, DE. Born on October 26, 1936, in Highland Park, TX, Suzanne attended Highland Park High School followed by the University of Oklahoma were she earned a degree in Art & minored in French & English. 

Suzanne dedicated over three decades to her career as a medical transcriptionist, a role in which she excelled and cherished. Beyond her professional life, she was passionate about reading and deeply devoted to her dogs, which brought her immense joy and companionship throughout her life.

Suzanne is survived by her loving husband James, of nearly 50 years and her children: Lisa (Gary) Moore, Maureen (Clay) Woods, James R (Anna) Tepfenhart, Julie (Wayne) Kulhanek, and Christopher Tepfenhart. Her legacy continues through her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

A private memorial service was held to honor Suzanne’s life and legacy.
