Susan Tresa (Guidice) Long

     Susan Tresa Long passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024 at Kent General Hospital from complications with liver disease, at the age of 58. Susan was born on January 8, 1966 in Staten Island, NY, the daughter of Daniel and Dolores (Ottaviano) Guidice. 

      Susan was many things throughout her life - she was a daughter, a mother, a grandma, a homemaker, a manager of banks and restaurants, and she was a cherished kind-hearted friend to anyone who needed her support. She loved to talk about her favorite TV shows, especially General Hospital (she could recount everything that had ever happened in Port Charles). She loved to cook, especially on Christmas Eve, and was an incredible host who opened her home to everyone and made sure they felt like they were family - because to her, they were.

     She is preceded in death by her husband, Eric Long, and her parents, Daniel and Dolores. 

     She is survived by her son Daniel, his wife Kellie, and their daughter Thea; her brothers Neil (the late Cheryl) and Nicholas; her nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. 

     A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where friends may visit with the family from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Saturday. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Susan’s honor to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
