Steven Michael Jayne

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Steven Michael Jayne, 33, of Dover, Delaware, who passed away suddenly on May 15, 2025.

Born on December 3, 1991, in Dover, Steven was the beloved son of Dale and Tina Jayne. He was known for his generous spirit and willingness to help anyone in need. A true craftsman at heart, Steven loved working with his hands—whether welding, repairing engines, or building with wood, there was no job he couldn’t tackle. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and riding ATVs.

Steven is survived by his loving parents, Dale and Tina Jayne; his siblings, Carrie Chase, Danny (Kimmi), and Jessica (John) Conran; nieces Alicyn, Alaina, Soryaleigh, and Thalia; nephew Cole; and his grandmother Freda Jayne. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Gerald Cole and James G. Thompson, Sr., and his grandmother Alice Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for family and close friends.

Steven will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
