Stephen J. Maytidu, 51, of Milford, Delaware, formerly of Maplewood, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, at Delaware Hospice Center.
Stephen was a craftsman by trade whose hard work, dedication, and talent were evident throughout his life. Beyond his work, he found joy in the simple pleasures that brought family and friends together. He loved spending evenings around a fire pit, throwing darts, fishing, shooting pool, and cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his cherished dog, Dutch, who was never far from his side.
Above all else, Stephen was devoted to his family. He was the beloved husband of Suzanne Maytidu (née Mandy) and a proud and loving father to Alyssa and Alanna, who were his greatest accomplishments. He was a cherished son of Ellen and a loving brother to Sean. He was son-in-law to Jack and Donna Mandy and brother-in-law to Michael Mandy and his wife, Stephanie. Stephen was also a proud uncle to Shea, Kevin, Ryan, Liam, Patrik and Aven, all of whom will miss his humor, kindness, and unwavering presence.
Stephen will be remembered for his generous spirit, his friendship, his devotion to those he loved, and the countless memories he created with family and friends. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Cremation will be handled privately by Pippin Funeral Home. Letters of condolence may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com
