Sandra Curtin of Dover, Delaware, passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 84. Sandy was born in Lewes, Delaware to the late William, Sr. and Sara Hill. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Hill, Jr. Sandy is survived by her four children: Marcy Schneider, Kim Cox, Karen Hall, and Brian Curtin; as well as six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Sandy worked as a credit analyst for almost two decades prior to retirement. She was happiest when attending craft shows, gardening, spending time at the beach at Cape Henlopen State Park, and taking trips to Chincoteague, Virginia and Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Sandy was a loyal Philadelphia sports fan (the Phillies and Eagles, in particular). She also had a lifelong love of animals of all types, especially small-breed dogs.
The family would like to thank all of those who helped to care for Sandy during her later years. In particular, the family would especially like to thank Bill Beegle, Portia Fisher, and Sandy Jones for their assistance and companionship.
In remembrance of Sandy and her love of animals, the family encourages donations to First State Animal Center and SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, Delaware 19934.
