Ronald Salamone passed away at his home in Dover, Delaware after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
Ronald was raised in Brooklyn, New York and worked in retail.
In 1982, he married Julie Vincelli. Then, in 1985, they adopted their first child, Kimberly, from Korea. They moved to Maryland in 1988 and in 1989, they adopted their second daughter, Caysie, also from Korea.
Ronald was a manager at Giant Food for over 20 years and retired early due to numerous medical issues. After retirement, Ronald and his wife moved to Delaware.
His passion was being with his family and dog, Sophia. He also liked getting together with his wife and friends.
He was an avid John Wayne fan and an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan, win or lose.
Ronald is preceded in death by his mother, Marcella and his father, Lino.
He is survived by his wife, Julie; daughters, Kimberly and Caysie; his sister, Lisa; brother-in-law Demetrius; and nephews, Matthew and Nicholas.
There will be a graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover, DE
