Born in Bentleyville, PA on May 18, 1943, Ronald Masnovi Degano lived in Charleroi PA until he went into the Army in 1960. He did basic in Ft Jackson, SC and was stationed in Tolchester Beach, MD at the missel defense base. He met and married the love of his life Elizabeth “Ann” Taylor on December 15, 1962. He and Ann lived in Centreville, MD and moved to Dover, DE in 1962 where he worked for General Foods for 36 years. They retired in 1999 and became “snow-birds” -traveling the USA with their truck and RV, wintering in Mesa, AZ. Ron was a fisherman, dancer, singer and baker who loved to share his baked goods, most importantly he was a good son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed! He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Degano and Marcella Wright and son Ronald Ray Degano. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Ann Degano, his daughter Dana D. Yurkanin, grandchildren Raymond White, Erica Degano, RJ Degano, Kayla Yurkanin, Regan Yurkanin and great granddaughter Alyssa Shockley. There will be a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers please donate in his name to a local animal shelter.
