Roger Edward Dyer

     Roger Edward Dyer, 61, originally from Dover, Delaware passed away on May 7, 2023. Born on January 31, 1962, he was the son of the late William and Jean (McGinnis) Dyer. 

     Roger was a Dover High School graduate. A carpenter by trade and an avid hunter, he had many interests such as photography, fishing, scouting for deer, and barbequing. He loved his labrador retrievers and reminiscing with friends and family. 

     He is survived by his daughters, Carla Dyer and Salina (Cotta) Tapley; his grandchildren, Carmen, Rayla, and Ramon Burris, Cannon and Sienna Tapley, a great-grandson Khamani, Joyce Dyer and her children and their extended families, and his good friend Bob Burris. 

     A Service of Celebration will be held at the Harrington Moose Lodge, 16268 S. DuPont Highway, Harrington, DE  19952 on Tuesday, May 30th from 5:30-7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, suite #205, New Castle, DE  19720 in remembrance of William and Jean Dyer.
