Robert (Bob) Sconfienza

     Robert (Bob) Sconfienza, 77, of Dover, DE, died at home on December 25, 2024.

     He was born in Dumont, Bergen County, NJ in 1947 to Frederick C. Sconfienza and Edith De Baun. Bob attended Dumont High School before joining the Marine Corps.

     Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother Frederick Sconfienza, and late spouse Dyanne Sconfienza. He is survived by his wife, Jessie, her daughter, Suni Chen, her grandchildren, his nephew, Fred Sconfienza Jr., and family.

     He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1972 with a tour in Vietnam.

     Bob owned and managed Haworth Hardware, Haworth, NJ, for many years.

     Family and friends will be received at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W Camden Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, DE 19934 on Friday, the 3rd of January from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Interment to take place at a later date in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE Donations to your local veterans’ organizations in his name would be appreciated.
