Robert William Konschak

Robert William Konschak, 78, of Dover, Delaware passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025. Robert was born in Dover to the late William and Olga Konschak.

Robert graduated from Dover High School in 1965 and attended Wesley College. Robert retired after 20 years from the Dover Police Department as a Sergeant.  He was a member of FOP Lodge #3 and a life member of Dover Fire Department.  He enjoyed bowling, woodworking, and gardening.  He also enjoyed playing basketball and baseball and he was in band in high school. Robert was always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends in need. After retiring from the Dover Police Department, Robert took a house down to the studs and remodeled it and it ended up being sold in one day.

Robert is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rhae Smith Konschak; son, William Rhey Konschak (Gwen Kinsella); granddaughter, Madelyn Rigney; and his sister, Gene Lohrmann.

A celebration of life for Robert will be Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 9 East Taphouse in Treadway Towers, 9 E. Loockerman Street, Dover, Delaware from 12-4:00 p.m.
