Robert K. Cox

    Robert (Bob) Kyle Cox 80 of Smyrna, Delaware passed away Monday February 10, 2020 at Bayhealth Kent Campus Dover, DE due to natural causes. 
    He was born on  April 28, 1939 in West Chester, Pa. to Garnet and Murrell (Sluder) Cox where he grew up with his two brothers Dan and Jim. 
    He was a big rig owner/operator and drove truck for 32 years prior to his retirement in 2000. 
    He and his wife enjoyed spending their winters in Orlando, Florida and he was an avid NASCAR fan. 
    He is survived by his wife Dolores of 60 years. A daughter Diane Ramsey and her husband Roy of Gouldsboro, PA a daughter Linda Wingenfield and her husband John of Millersville, PA and a son David and his wife Kim of Winfield, WV. 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. 
    He was preceded in death by both his parents and a great granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth. 
    A memorial service will be held at a later date at the families discretion. 
    He will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him.
