Robert Ames Bonniwell

Robert  A. Bonniwell of Dover, De; son of William and Frances (Poynter) Bonniwell went home to be with The Lord on Saturday July 23,2022 at Bayhealth Hospital in Dover, De. He was 79.  He had served as the Executive Director at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover from 1970 through 2001. Prior to that he had taught math at Milford Middle School. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He was preceded in death by his first wife of 27 years Beverly June Bonniwell(Geise) in 2000, a daughter Kimberly Dawn Biggs in 2019, a sister Patricia Wroten and an infant brother Raymond.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Beverly Sue Bonniwell, a daughter Tami Rigg (Greg) of Landenberg PA. A stepson Scott English(Amy) of St. Augustine FL. , A step daughter Michelle Epple (Matthew) of Bloomington IN. A brother Larry Bonniwell of Seaford DE.,  A sister Rose Bishop of Virginia, a sister Linda McBride(Kevin) of New Bern, NC. A sister Bobbie Cox of Harrington, DE. 4 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at Faith Community Church at 2240 S. Dupont Hwy, Dover De. 19901 on Friday July 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm.
