Robert William Bell, 91 passed away on January 24, 2025. Robert was born in Dover, Delaware to the late Aubrey and Viola Walls. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Bell, Fred Bell and Billy Bell; as well as his son in law, Thomas Singleton.
Robert served in the United States Army, while in the Army, he was in the Korean War. Robert worked at Kraft General Foods and retired after 35 years. He was a member of United Church of God. He enjoyed following sports, mainly baseball and football, and his favorite team was the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a collector of Bluegrass and Gospel records and enjoyed coin collecting.
Robert is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret Bell; daughters, Tammy Singleton and Bobbie Montgomery; son in law, Matt Montgomery; grandchildren, M. Trent Montgomery, Dylan Robert Montgomery, Ryder Montgomery, Joshua Singleton and Marissa Singleton; great grandchildren, Kade Thomas Vandewater, Ameila Rose Whitby and Gabriel Thomas; Sister, Beulah Fazekis; sister in law, Mary Jane Bell; best friend, Joe Wright; lifelong friends, Carl Mears and Ralph Deats.
A celebration of life for Robert is currently being planned by the family and will be announced soon.
