Richard Spohn, 69, of Laurel, DE, died on October 23, 2024.
Born in Orange, NJ in 1954 to William and Jeanne Spohn of Livingston, NJ, Rich was an instructor at Lincoln Technical School in Union, NJ for 20 years. Rich and his brother previously owned Amoco stations in Wildwood, NJ. Rich could fix anything and enjoyed home renovation projects, driving Ford Mustangs and listening to music on his McIntosh stereo collection. He loved attending concerts and shows in New York City and spending time with family in his Delaware home.
Rich was preceded in death by his parents and brother William (Bill) Spohn, and is survived by his wife, Ann Gavin, children Jessica (Robert) Grayson, Jeanne Kinney and Daniel (Colleen) Spohn. He was the proud grandfather of Michaela, Lorraine, Lucy, Alice, Reese, Michael, Cameran, Anthony, Dylan, Cody, Autumn and Laurel.
Rich will be interred at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ. A service will be held here at a later date.
