Richard Haddick Obituary

Richard L. Haddick, 68, of Wyoming, DE. passed away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2021.Rick was born February 2, 1952 to the late CMSGT Harold W. Haddick and Elizabeth E. Lyons Haddick in Rome, NY.

He graduated from Ceasar Rodney High School and the Kent County Vocational Technical School.

 Following graduation he worked in the sheet metal field laying out, building and installing heating and Ac systems in the Kent County area for many prominent contractors. His sheet metal training led him to tinsmithing. Making chandeliers, sconces, lanterns and numerous other tin objects. 

He was specially known for his numbered Delaware Points of Light Collection and the thousands of tin icicles he made.

Rick loved music and animals. He spent a lot of time in his canoe and among the ducks and geese at the Wyoming Mill Pond where his tin shop was.

Rick was preceded in passing by his father, mother and 2 brother, H. William Haddick Jr. and Robert Lester Haddick

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pamela Brown Haddick, his daughter Kimberly L. Corbeil, and sons, Brandon M. and Adam B. Haddick. He also has three grandchildren, Reily, McKenna and Sean Corbeil as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Inerment will be private.
