Richard Bradley Cheesman, known affectionately as Brad, was born on December 2,1970, in Cambridge, Maryland. He tragically departed this world on January 13, 2024, at the age of 53, in Newark, Delaware. Brad was a caring, hardworking, and loving individual, with a great sense of humor that brought joy to his friends and family. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, and his untimely passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Brad is survived by his beloved wife, Melissa Cheesman, and his cherished son, Alex Ramsdell. He is also survived by his parents, Sheila Thompson and Thomas Cheesman Jr & Judy Cheesman, his sister Michelle & Donald Spedden, and niece Joslyn Spedden, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members in England and Ohio. Brad was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas Cheesman Sr and Evelyn Cheesman, as well as an Uncle Paul and Aunt Christine, Aunt Charloette.

In his educational journey, Brad attended Caesar Rodney School District for his primary schooling and later graduated from Fairborn High School in Fairborn Ohio. He further pursued his education at Clark State Community College Springfield, Ohio.

Brad had a successful career in the trucking industry, working for various companies including Koski Trucking, Chambers Bus Service, Western Express, Dart Trucking, CRST Trucking, US Express Trucking, and Hogan Trucking. His dedication and hard work were admired by his colleagues, and he made a lasting impact in his field.

Outside of work, Brad enjoyed listening to music, playing Xbox,Cooking,Hunting and Fishing. These hobbies allowed him to unwind and find joy in his free time.

A closed service will be held to honor Brad's life, exclusively for family members. The funeral arrangements are being handled by Pippin Funeral Home, located in Camden Wyoming, Delaware, on Friday January 26th @ 11am.The family appreciates the love and support they have received during this difficult time.

  Brad will forever be remembered as a beloved son, father, husband, and friend. His warm personality, kind heart, and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, knowing that his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
