Rhonda Joan Tyndall passed away on September 16 at her home in Dover following an illness. She was born on September 22, 1951 to the late Ronald Minner and Virginia (Woodruff) Minner. She was a 1969 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School and began her working career at JC Penney. After earning an Associate Degree from Del Tech Community College, she became a contract specialist at USDA Soil Conservation Service, retiring in 2014. Rhonda especially enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen, collecting cookbooks, traveling to foreign ports, gardening, and dining with friends. She was preceded in death by both parents, and her stepfather, Stanley Hislop. She is survived by sons Christopher (Andrea) Hazzard of Minden, NE, and Joel (Jessica) Hazzard of Clayton, DE; daughter, Kathryn (Andrew) Borntreger of Middletown, DE; brothers James (Benita) Minner of Dover and Keith (Deb) Minner of Harrisburg, PA; and former spouses, Roger Hazzard and Wayne Tyndall. She is also survived by her dearly loved grandchildren Caleb, Levi, Maria and Josiah Hazzard; Jenna, Andy and Garrett Borntreger; and Lanie and Ellie Hazzard.
A gathering in her honor will be held at Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, Delaware, on Tuesday, September 22, on what would have been her 69thbirthday, where family and friends may call from 6 pm to 8 pm. Due to CO-VID 19 restrictions, a gathering of 50 or less at one time and social distancing must be followed.
