Randy Dean Anderson, 75, of Dover Delaware, passed away on December 13th, 2024. He was born on May 16th, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Kenneth Todd Anderson and Verna Jean Anderson.
Randy was a loving father, successful businessman and philanthropist. He moved to Dover from upstate New York in 1975 and founded Dover Pool and Patio Center Inc. which is currently celebrating its 48th anniversary. He was known for his exceptional leadership, vision, and generosity. Throughout his career, he not only built a thriving business but also made significant contributions to the community through his philanthropic efforts.
He was passionate about giving back and supported such organizations as Meals on Wheels, Food Bank of Delaware, and Code Purple to name a few. His kindness, dedication, and commitment to helping others will be remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by Becky Snyder (companion), Nichole Anderson (Daughter), Chris and Terri Anderson (Son and Daughter in-law), Gary Anderson (Brother) and Rula Anderson (Sister in-law), of Florida, Nannette Johnston (Sister) and Brent Johnston (Brother in-law) of Texas, four grandchildren Austin Anderson, Whitney Limpert, Patrick Easton, Evan Easton, two great-grandchildren Dean Limpert and Kennedy Limpert and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the community.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Shepard Place or Delaware Hospice in his memory.
The family will be hosting a celebration of life gathering with a date to be announced soon.
