Pietrino Calistri

     Pietrino Calistri, of Dover, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 16, 2023, in Bayhealth/Kent General Hospital. He was 86.

     Pietrino was born February 26, 1937 in Castlevechia, Italy to the late Emilio & Tranquilla(Ferrari) Calistri.  He was the owner of a transmission specialist shop in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania for over 20 years, before retiring 20 years ago.

     He and his wife Karin enjoyed camping for over 50 years. Pietrino was an avid hunter, and loved his 5 German Short Hair Pointer Hunting Dogs. He was a jokester who liked to ride a variety of vehicles from motorcycles to his adult 3 wheelers.

    Pietrino is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Karin(Johnson) Calistri; his beloved sister, Sonia Emami, of Altoona, Pennsylvania; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

    Funeral Services will be held 4:00pm, Friday, March 24, 2023, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may view 1 hour before.
