Philip Thomas De Rocili, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully, Saturday May 15, 2021. He was 95.
Phillip was born December 14, 1925 in Wilmington, DE to the late, Gabriele & Mary(Georgi) De Rocili. He served proudly in the United States Army during WWII, and continued with the Army National Guard after his tour was over. Philip was the owner of De-Ro Builders in Wilmington for many years, and also along with his wife Helga, owned Mrs.De Rocli’s Steak & Sub Shop in Bethany Beach for 8 years during the 1970’s.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Helga(Vogel) De Rocili, and Four Brothers, Rudy, Andy, Val, and Roland.
Philip is survived by his daughter, Rosemarie Lillquist & husband, Jeffrey, of Lewes; his grandson, Nicholas Lillquist & wife, Samantha, of Wyoming; a great-granddaughter, Aaralyn Lillquist; and Five Siblings, John & Reynold De Rocili, Angela Ditaddio, Dorothy Riley, and Florence Facciolo.
Services with Military Honors will be held 1:00pm, Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com
