Peter Daniel Moore, Sr.

     Peter Daniel Moore, Sr., 73, of Magnolia, passed away at home on May 30, 2021.

     Mr. Moore had been a prison guard at Sussex Correctional Institute (SCI) in Georgetown for over 20 years.  He had served in the United States Air Force for four years.

     His wife, Gloria Moore, passed away in 2011.  Mr. Moore is survived by his son, Pete D. Sutherland and his wife Missy of Virginia, his daughter Maria Paulson and her husband Andrew of Harrington, his son Johnny Reyes of Seaford, his daughter Evelyn Moore, and his son Daniel Moore of Magnolia; two sisters, Beverly and Marge, both of Michigan; eight grandchildren: John Cooper, Shabrina Spears, Clara Sutherland and Celina Forshey, Kiley Reyes, Bryson Reyes, Elijah Reyes and Addisen Reyes; and six great grandchildren: Ethan Steuer, Maya Bowers, Amani Spears, Dakota Cooper, Damien Dungca and Hailey Moore; and many more relatives.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his grandson David E. Moore.
