Pauline (Engle) Coberly passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 at home in the presence of her family. She was 91 years old, born on December 3, 1934.
She married Clarence Coberly on November 17, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. She and Clarence eventually made their home in Sandtown, Delaware.
Pauline was a devoted housewife and mother. She liked cooking and loved canning for her family. She loved taking care of her family and babysitting. Pauline could yodel and loved to sing.
She is survived by her husband Clarence L. Coberly; her daughter Sherry A. Bougourd and her husband John Bougourd; her granddaughter Brittany Lebedda and her husband Nathaniel; and her great grandchildren: Roger L. Coberly III, Camryn E. Coberly, Alexis Coberly and a great-great grandson Billy Ray Coberly. She is also survived by her sister Betty Bryant of Tennessee and her brother Tony G. Engle of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, the late Roger L. Coberly, Sr. and her grandson, the late Roger L. Coberly, Jr.
There will be a viewing from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934. A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at the funeral home with an additional viewing from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.
