Camden,DE- Paul (Pacey) (Pop-pop) Seymour Skversky, of Camden,DE, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by family on Sunday, January 9, 2022. He was 83.
Paul was born August 24, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA. to the late Sol & Dorothy (Heimovitz) Skversky. He owned a Jewelry Business on Jewelers Row in Philadelphia for most of his life and knew everyone up and down the street. He was a sports lover but football was his favorite and he especially loved the Eagles.
After retiring from his business, he started a pet sitting business, Pacey’s Pampered Pets, he loved dogs so much and a few cats too. Later, Paul and his wife then moved to Barclay Farms here in Camden, they loved living here so much. They had so many great friends and loved going to have meals with their dine around groups.
Paul was the nicest person anyone could meet, always with a kind word or an inappropriate joke, who only saw the good in everyone he met. He also really loved his family so much, especially his queen, Maxine. They were together for 60 years and had so much love together.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine (2018) and his sister Phyllis.
Paul is survived by 3 Children, Alan Skversky & wife Nancy of Clayton, CA: Robin Gracie, of Georgetown Kentucky, and Stuart Skversky, of Chiang Mai, Thailand; 7 grandchildren, Brian, Bobby, Jonathan, Evan, Kendall, Justin and Samantha and 6 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Clubhouse at Barclay Farms, 1 Paynters Way, Camden, DE 19934; from 12 (noon)-2:00pm, Sunday, January 16, 2022.
The family asks those in attendance to come in casual attire.
